Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), in Baton Rouge, LA, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your primary responsibilities as a Front-end Developer will include:

• Review, evaluate, and validate technical requirement
• Work with Product Owners and other team members to translate the requirements into final deliverables
• Understand storyboards, wire-frames, visual mock-ups, and other media elements
• Understand and utilize the latest tools, technologies, and trends in both web and E-Learning development
• Work with visual designers to gather wire-frames, visual mock-ups, graphics, audio, video and other UI elements
• Work with Quality Assurance (QA) team to get the product tested, address any issues
• Ensure the deliverables meet IBM standards, and guidelines

The successful candidates for this position will become members of our Client Innovation Team. You will work closely across the CIC network to delight our customers with leading edge solutions with a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction. In addition to strong collaboration across the team, you will be virtually integrated into our deep learning and knowledge program as well as employee engagement across NA. All resources in our CIC network may be requested to travel depending on specific client project needs. US Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and client relationship building at the client site, as well as subsequent travel for key milestones or project initiatives. Travel is generally no more than 50% of the time.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience
• Exposure and experience in Angular, React Nation, or React JS
• Exposure and experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Java
• Experience working with teams

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
